Journey (fondly know as the "Little White Dog") has been a wonderful addition to our family. She is equally happy to spend a crisp, fall day going out hunting with Lance or curling up on the couch with Riley. She attended her first dog show in the fall of 2018 and surprised us all by going Winners Bitch/Best of Breed at 6 months old! We decided to use 2019 as a "fun year" to play in the show ring before we got serious about showing - but Journey continued to surprise us and ended 2019 with 12 points (including both majors), multiple group placements, multiple Owner-Handler Series group placements, and being ranked as the #6 Owner-Handler Series GWP, all in extremely limited showing.
In even more limited showing in 2020, Journey earned her Champion title and won Best of Breed her first day as a special for a 5 point GCH major! She also earned her Junior Hunter title and Trick Dog Intermediate titles in 2020.
In 2021, Journey went to WA with co-breeder/co-owner Laura Myles of Inverness GWP. She was bred to CH Inverness Just the Facts JH "Joe" and produced 10 happy, healthy puppies! In Iowa, Journey produced another lovely litter of 9 puppies
After two years out of the show ring and 19 puppies, Journey came back swinging. After being entered on a whim (5 months post puppies), Journey was awarded a Group 3 behind two of the nations top Sporting dogs and an Owner Handled Group 1.
